Neurodivergent Insights

Neurodivergent Insights is a website and collection of neurodivergent resources by Dr. Megan Anna Neff.

Dr. Neff, an AuDHD psychologist, created the Neurodivergent Insights website, Instagram account, and a book called Self-Care for Autistic People.

Her resources are pretty well-known within the online autistic community for their helpful, clear visual diagrams and infographics.

There's some paid content on the website that you can opt into if you want, but I think the main draw is her blog that has tons of free articles on neurodivergent topics.

She writes about differences and similarities between different forms of neurodivergence (known as Misdiagnosis Monday), sensory checklists for autistic people (that I used as a personal inventory soon after I was diagnosed), ideas for sensory comforts to try, and some free PDA resources. She also has articles about how medical professionals and therapists can work to be more accepting of autistic people, among many other interesting subjects.

If you're confused about any of the terms used on the website, or in neurodivergent discourse in general, there's a glossary that defines common terminology for you. And there are some courses and trainings for therapists and parents who want to better understand and support their neurodivergent clients and/or family members, though I have no personal experience with these.

Overall, I think Dr. Neff made a pretty cool hub for anyone looking for an alternative to autism resources made by neurotypicals. (Usually good to steer clear of those ;)
